GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for graduation every student must successfully complete a minimum of 24 credits.
4 credits of English: English 1, 2, 3, and 4
3 credits of Mathematics: Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2 and another math
3 credits of Social Studies: History of Civilization, U. S. History, and Government
2 credits of Science: Physical Science and Biology
1 credit of Physical Education
1 credit of Fine Arts: Art, Music, or Technical Drawing
1 credit of Health
½ credit of Computer Literacy: Word Processing, Desktop Publishing, Telecommunications, Technical Education, Technical Drawing, Computer Electronics, Computer Graphics, Computer Programming
8 ½ credits of electives
In addition, the Class of 2010 and beyond must show proficiency in their mastery of the Maine Learning Results.

PROGRAM OF STUDIES
Students entering Calais High School should develop a four-year educational course selection plan based upon a path that will lead them to a broad career field AND meet graduation requirements. This plan may be updated each year to allow students the flexibility to choose career electives OR move from one pathway to another.
