Billing

For Medical Care (Doctors/Nurse Practitioner)
The Blue Devil Health Center will bill Mainecare and private insurance companies for all eligible medical services.  No co-pays or deductibles are billed to parents if any insurance reimbursement is received.  In the event that a student has no insurance or is ineligible for coverage for a particular service, parents will be billed $12.00/visit.  No student will be denied care due to the inability to pay for care.

For Counseling
Aroostook Mental Health Care will bill Mainecare and private insurance companies for all eligible counseling services.  No co-pays or deductibles are billed to parents if any insurance reimbursement is received.  In the event that a student has no insurance or is ineligible for coverage for a particular service, parents will be billed $12.00/visit payable to the Blue Devil Health Center. No student will be denied care due to the inability to pay for care.

For Dental
Downeast Health Services will bill Mainecare for eligible dental services.  Parents with private dental insurance or no dental insurance will be billed $12.00/visit, payable to the Blue Devil Health Center.  No student will be denied care due to the inability to pay for care.

Referrals to other providers or hospital services:  Parents are responsible for making payment arrangements for all services provided outside of the school.

Parents are asked to provide the Blue Devil Health Center will up to date billing information. 
Students without health insurance will be mailed Mainecare information.
