The Calais High School Drama Club usually performs three shows a year—a full-length production each fall and spring and a shorter play for the Maine Principal’s Association One-Act Play Competition each March. Play choices may be wild comedy or compelling drama, but they are always thrilling adventures guaranteed to challenge. Any student can take advantage of these three opportunities to learn acting and stage management, set, lighting and costume design and creation, as well as publicity and promotion by participating in these productions.
