Jacob Footer Achieves Fifth Place Finish

Jacob Footer secured an impressive fifth place in the competition, finishing just four shots behind the leader. He recorded a score of 79, while the winner posted a 75. It's quite remarkable for a freshman to place in the top five out of over 120 participants.

Calais Golf Team Narrowly Misses State Championship Title

The Calais team aimed to secure a state championship, but things didn't go as planned. Nevertheless, both the community and the school hold their heads high in pride for this team. Their season has been nothing short of impressive. The only match they lost this year was during the state championship. While it may hurt at the moment, focus on training and prepare for next year!

Calais Golf Team Continues Perfect Streak by Capturing Penobscot Valley Conference Championship

Coaches Redding and Cole have the boys performing exceptionally well, leading them to another championship win. They are set to compete for the state championship on October 11th at Natanis in Vassalboro.

The Calais golf team achieved a score of 310, outperforming the nearest competitor, who finished with a score of 320.

Top Performers:

Champion: Jacob Footer with a score of 73
Runner-Up: Chase Scott, scoring 76
