For Seniors
The Guidance Department provides seniors with the tools and support needed to successfully navigate their final year of high school. From college and career planning to financial aid, applications, and post-graduation opportunities, this page offers important resources, timelines, and updates to help students stay organized and prepared for their next steps.

University of Maine Direct Admit Program
CHS has partnered with University of Maine System to offer direct admission to our students! Seniors who want to OPT OUT of this program, please fill out this form and return to Mrs. Pike.

Common App
The Common Application (Common App) is an online college application platform that allows students to apply to multiple colleges and universities with one application. Seniors can complete their personal information, essays, and recommendation requests all in one place, then submit to different schools easily. Many colleges also require supplemental questions or essays, so students should check each school’s requirements carefully. It’s a great way to stay organized and manage deadlines during the college application process.
