Our unique exploratory program offers nine-week introductory programs to 9th graders in the following subject areas:  Automotive Technology, Building Trades, Computer Technology, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Early Childhood Education, and Welding.

The program is held every other day for nine-weeks (on blue period 2 days). Students  have the opportunity to take four nine-week programs during the school year.

These modified courses are designed to create an awareness of the career opportunities and the demands of each industry. Students who desire a more intensive experience in Career and Technical Education programs may enroll in SCRTC full-time programs during their junior and senior years.
