The Maine Education Association recognized with the Golden A held its 2026 Awards Banquet, and I was so excited to see Brittney Drew from Calais Middle School apple Award! 🍎
The Golden Apple Award recognizes an individual or group that demonstrates a strong commitment to their school community and to the children they serve and Brittney is deserving of this recognition. She continually goes above and beyond, always stepping up wherever needed, giving her time, energy, and heart to her students and school community. More than that, she inspires her students every day through her dedication, kindness, and passion for education.
