Annual Calais Middle School Exposition

Hello Calais Middle School families, friends, students, and staff from CHS and CES!

Get ready for a celebration of learning you won’t want to miss! You’re invited to Calais Middle/High School on Thursday, May 28, 2026, for a special showcase of student achievement from the 2025–2026 school year.

Each student will have their own display station set up in their homeroom, featuring projects, work, and accomplishments they’re proud to share. It’s a chance to see firsthand the creativity, effort, and growth that have taken place all year long.

Join us during one of our two showcase times:
12:00–1:40 p.m. or 5:00–7:00 p.m.

Walk the halls, visit classrooms, and celebrate the hard work and success of our students. We’re excited to open our doors and share this experience with you!

On Monday, our students who are part of the Olympia Snowe Women's Leadership Institute attended the Spring Graduation event honoring the program’s graduating seniors. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our seniors and recognize the hard work and dedication they have shown over the past three years.

Our sophomore group even had the chance to speak with Olympia Snowe herself! Thank you to the Institute and to our Olympia Leader Advisors for the support and guidance they provide to our students through this important program!

Yesterday, our students had an incredible opportunity to visit the University of Maine!

We started with a general campus tour. Then, part of the group toured the engineering facilities, where they explored cutting-edge technology, innovation spaces, and a 3D-printed house. Another group visited the nursing simulation labs, experiencing the hands-on learning environments used to train future healthcare professionals. 🩺⚙️

Experiences like these help students connect classroom learning to real-world careers and inspire them to think about their futures after graduation.

A huge thank you to the University of Maine for welcoming our students and to Rural Aspirations for sponsoring this amazing opportunity!
