She consistently brings a pleasant and cheerful demeanor to our school environment, always striving to achieve her best while uplifting those around her.
Sa Li's dedication and commitment to excellence are evident in her impressive accomplishments, which truly set her apart as a remarkable student. Here are just a few highlights of her outstanding achievements:

Check out all the great exciting things happening at Calais Middle High School.

We held our 7th annual Post Secondary Fair at CMHS and had a very successful event! Students had the chance to talk directly to college admissions counselors and military recruiters, learn about different trade schools in Maine, hear about different career paths from business owners and company personnel, and explore their interests. We also had students from Calais Alternative School, Cobscook Institute, Woodland and Shead take advantage of this great opportunity.
This event isn't possible without many people's contributions. Thank you to:
-The Calais Blue Devil Boosters, JMG, and Student Council who donated prizes for our students
-The St. Croix Regional Technical Center culinary arts program who provided coffee and pastries for our guests
-The maintenance crew at CHS for setting up and cleaning up after the event
-WCCC for letting us borrow tables for our vendors
-Tradewinds for providing lunch for our vendors
-Many JMG students who helped greet our guests, gave out prizes, set up lunch, made thank-you bags and helped with clean up
-CHS front office staff for helping with set up, clean up, and throughout the day
Lastly, thank you to our vendors near and far who came to share their expertise with our students! We look forward to another successful event next year.

With the storm heading our way, there will be no after-school activities.

Congratulations to Nathalia: February Student of the Month
I am thrilled to invite everyone to join me in celebrating Nathalia, who has been honored as our Student of the Month for February! Nathalia stands out as a remarkable individual within our academic and sports community.
Her dedication is evident not just in her studies, where she consistently achieves excellent grades, but also in her active participation in various sports. Nathalia is an incredibly fierce competitor, showcasing her skills on two different types of mats. During this season, she impressively balances her roles as both a cheerleader and a wrestler, demonstrating her versatility and commitment to our school’s athletic programs.
Nathalia serves as a member of our Student Council, where she holds the esteemed position of an officer for her class. This role was not assigned to her; rather, it was earned through an election process conducted by her fellow classmates. As a representative of her peers, Nathalia is dedicated to advocating for their interests and contributing to the overall decision-making within the council. Her election demonstrates the trust and support her classmates have in her leadership abilities, as she strives to make a positive impact in her school community.
What truly sets Nathalia apart is her positive attitude. She greets everyone with a warm smile and a friendly "hello," embodying respect and kindness towards her fellow students and our staff. Her ability to manage her responsibilities while maintaining such a cheerful demeanor is truly commendable.
Let us all take a moment to recognize and appreciate Nathalia's hard work and contributions to our community!
