We invite you to celebrate our five senior volleyball players this afternoon. The varsity match kicks off at 1 p.m., while the junior varsity match begins at 12 p.m. Letās rally together to support these young women in their final game at Calais High School.
Additionally, letās extend our best wishes to the four runners competing today in Bangor at the PVC Championship cross-country race.

Important Announcement: Parent-Teacher Conference Date Change
Please take note and mark your calendars for an essential event! We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conference, which will take place on November 5th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Originally scheduled for the 6th, the conference has been moved to the 5th due to various scheduling conflicts. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
This conference is a wonderful opportunity for parents and teachers to connect, discuss student progress, and collaborate on strategies for success. We are looking forward to seeing all of you there and fostering a strong partnership in support of our students' education.

-What an FSA ID is and why it matters
Who should come:
Seniors + parents/guardians, or anyone curious about paying for college!

Starting October 6th, weāll be offering leaf raking services in the Calais area for just $5 per bag. Additional donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated!

Join us for a pep rally on Thursday, October 9th at 1:25 PM in the high school gymnasium! We'll be cheering on our golf team as they head off to compete for the state championship.
This event is open to the public, and we encourage everyone to participate!

Today was an exciting day for sports at Calais High School, with four teams competing.
Golf:
Our golf team participated in the Down East Athletic Conference Championship, where they claimed the overall team championship with a total score of 310. Jacob Footer achieved the best individual score of the day with a 73, followed closely by Chase Scott with a 76. Additionally, Jacob Footer, Chase Scott, Parker Cole, Brayan Shirley, Mikah Smith, and Turner Redding were all selected as DAC All-Stars. The coaches also named Jacob Footer as the DAC All-Star Player of the Year. Congratulations to him and the rest of the team. An incredible season thus far for our golf team, but it's not over yet! The team will travel to Hermon Meadows Golf Course where they will compete for the PVC Championship on Thursday October 2nd.
Boys Soccer:
The Calais boys soccer team faced off against Penobscot Christian, achieving a victory with a score of 3-0. Brock Collins scored two goals and Wyatt Short contributed one.
Volleyball:
The JV and Varsity volleyball teams traveled to Jonesport-Beals. The JV team won all their matches, displaying impressive teamwork. Meanwhile, the Varsity team played a thrilling five sets but lost the final set by just one point. It was a nail-biting match-up, and despite coming up short, the girls fought hard!
